BUENOS AIRES VIDEO ART FESTIVAL

Deep in the heart of Buenos Aires, capitol of Argentina, is an alternative art space open to the public 24 hrs a day called, ThisIsNotAGallery. In November they hosted the El VIBA Festival (Video Arte Internacional Buenos Aires), a new video festival and art exhibition focusing on contemporary, International audiovisual works. Follow links for more info. VIBA is an independent project that is a dedicated to disseminating new, contemporary video art in Argentina and around the world. VIBA proposes an approach to their city, drawing and art, bringing it to the streets of Buenos Aires and allowing the cosmopolitan urban setting to help form new ways of seeing.
