THE PINK HOTEL – Trailer

by Red Cell

What looks like the perfect integration of new and stock film (but is actually all newly shot work!) are sewn together to make a stunning and haunting trailer for Chris M. Hefner‘s new full length movie, The Pink Hotel. Hefner’s use of unusual film stocks and cameras as well as his use of vintage celluloid, add to the otherworldly feel of his work. Much like Guy Maddin, Hefner follows the old school directors’ approach to his films, not only in look and texture, but in their subject and movement as well. Thank you Chris, for sharing such unusual and important work with us! Go ahead and take a look for yourself.
