I DIGRESSED – New Dismorphic Self-Portraiture by Winston Chmielinski

Editor’s Note: You can read our longer, previous post about Winston Chmielinski here.

From Winston Chmielinski:
NP Contemporary presents “I Digressed,” a solo show of sweetly dismorphic self-portraiture by Winston Chmielinski.

Digression: I start between the eyes and find myself seaside, running along a beach, a line, back to the thighs; and then there‚Äôs a dip — a lip! — and a dribble, to the chest, reflected back up into a sky. An ear meets a leg, then sprouts a foot, and I cross a bridge, touch hands, amend a ‘begin’ to an end. S-k-i-p-p-i-n-g and jumping and dilly-dallying…
