Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, Maddin’s Keyhole is about a gangster and deadbeat father, Ulysses Pick (Patric), who returns home after a long absence, toting a drowned girl and a bound young man with him. His gang of hoodlums awaits him inside, but Ulysses is more interested in making his way through the house, room by room, looking for his wife Hyacinth (Rossellini).
