Anna Simone Minzer is an interdisciplinary artist/thinker/doer living and working in Brooklyn, New York. For Anna, no genre is sacred and no tool has a single purpose. Her mixed media studio work incorporates painting, drawing, printmaking and photography. Anna also gravitates towards new genres such as video art, installation and performance. She has a routine academic and creative writing practice that strongly influences both the process and product of much of her visual art. Anna is a certified art-fag and newly budding cinephile. Her favorite artists include: Kurt Schwitters, Carolee Schneemann, Michael Snow, and Wong Kar-Wai.
