Christy Bailey is an installation/video/performance/con artist currently living in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from the art program at the College of Santa Fe in 2007 and now dances, sings, and finger paints with preschoolers when she is not working on art. Currently, she is exploring the architectural, physical, and emotional qualities of the places we inhabit by creating installations and video pieces in her own home environment. She is inspired by unconventional materials like wallpaper and food and the psychological phenomenon of paramnesia (the distortion of memory with confusion of fact and fantasy).
