Lady Lazarus is Savannah, Georgia’s Melissa Ann Sweat, who performs haunting, repetitive minimalist piano and vocals. An artist her whole life, music is a new endeavor for Melissa. But, after the release of her “Home Recordings” EP and her appearance on the One Night Music show, she has quickly reached the attention of the lo-fi folk and shadowy dream-pop, bedroom recording scenesters, including Pitchfork (see review below).
