Samantha Anne Carrillo is a member of the fourth estate, a student, and a devout situationist, living in Albuquerque, NM. Hailing from the black hole of the Bible belt, Samantha has long held a special place in her heart for “difficult” art. She has worked as a freelance writer, staff reporter, managing editor, editor in chief and section editor in the newspaper industry. Her preferred art consumption is of the Bauhaus, Dada, Lettrist, Situationist, Fluxus, Moscow Conceptualist, Vienna Aktionist, blood and/or meat-centered, performance and outsider varieties. She is a third-wave feminist, a fan of dissidents and agitators, a closeted mambo, a practitioner of radical acceptance and a pop culture fanatic.
